Half Irish Piglett
Designed and Tied by David Ballingall, The half Irish piglet, first found success on the river Nith where it accounted for some phenomenal catches on the Dalswinton beat, when other flies, and other anglers were unable to connect. It continues to produce fish on both the Ayrshire, and Solway rivers, and most other places it is used. The holographic, and UV properties of this fly make it especially well suited to spate rivers and Peaty water. This pattern is tied on Nickle Black Hooks.
